The SEC joined hands with financial institutions such as Kasikorn Bank, the Bank of Thailand, and Muang Thai Life Assurance to launch a five-step program consisting of financial surveying, planning, advising, monitoring, and reporting. The program is aimed at helping investors make appropriate financial decisions regarding how to save or invest their money.
SEC Secretary-General Rapee Sucharitakul says he believes the program will make financial advice more accessible to investors with less capital. So far, 26 private businesses have participated in the program.
